Cutting Down Routines

If you read my last blog entry then you would know I am doing much better with my OCD. But I am still struggling to maintain what would be considered a "normal" routine. My nightly routine has continued to expand over time, and it is now taking quite a while to complete. I tend to do things multiple times until they, "feel right," which is very hard to accomplish.  So that you can get a better picture of my routine I am going to list it down below... Shower (rinse out conditioner for what seems like forever, and wash body with TONS of soap. Also spend a while scrubbing at feet when clearly they are clean.) Skin care regimen  Brush teeth (try not to gag myself, which I have been doing good on, but still let out at least one gag) Put on loads of chap stick until it "feels right" Brush hair Get water (drink out of faucet until I can't breath and fill water to the very top of the cup) Brush hair again Take sip of water Put more chap stick on ...
