The Four Seasons of Life Poem Meaning

The poem below was written by me at a time of healing. I had been depressed since early in the year, and as I began to heal I realized that people are a lot like the four seasons. We start off like summer, how I described as full and broad. We are happy. But slowly we began to turn sad. We loose our selves, like how trees loose their leaves in the fall.  Then we are completely miserble, dead inside, like the dead trees we look upon during winter. This season seems to go on forever, get more miserable day by day. But just as "hope has vanished" we find it again, and regain our once lost hapiness. Just as in spring life begins to bloom. And then we reach the season of summer again. Life is completely full around us. We are finally happy. This poems goal is to give a sense of hope. To show people that although you may be going through a tough time at the moment you will be okay. Don't give up, for summer is just around the corner.

THE FOUR SEASONS OF LIFE

THE FOUR SEASONS OF LIFE It starts off full and broad crisp memories each their own, completing it. It shall slope gently side to side to the sweet melody of happiness and greatness. Oh but slowly each happiness filled memory fades. No longer should it be crisp and great but dainty and crumbled. One by one all shall vanish be lost, until zero is left to rely on. Now it is bare. A naked nothing cold in the sharp, dead air. It shall be unremembered and shall sit solely in the dedend despair. And just when it departs a peak of sun brings it back to life. Slowly, very slowly it buds restoring color to the lifeless surroundings. It shall be crisp again. It has pulled through. The start of budding is now in actual existence. There is now a fresh scent if completeness to it and the once lost happiness and greatness has returned . It shall now remain full and broad.
